Layout Graphics DooZee Title
DooZee : Version History
DooZee 0.9b3

• Fixed the "crash when a DooZee is rolled" bug. If you were experiencing crashes, this is the most likely culprit, even if it doesn't look like you've rolled a DooZee before the crash - this is because the "animation" doesn't finish before the crash occurs. The problem was with the DooZee sound preference and it should work fine now.

• Changed the color of the "current player indicator" in the "All Scores" drawer to be lighter and (hopefully) better.

• Built with Xcode to (hopefully) be "Pantherized." It _should_ work on 10.2 and up. Please let me know if it doesn't work on your machine, I have a limited set of test machines.

• New options (select if and what sound plays when you roll a DooZee [including the original, short-lived DooZee sound from 0.8b2!]; use original "ice-blue" dice or the newer red dice) and a new preferences window for infrequently used options.

• Moved the remaining menu-item options out of the "Options" sub-menu and into the "Game" menu proper to make them easier to see and change. (Thanks, John M.!)

• Fixed (I hope) the issues involving Undo when playing a multi-player game.

• Fixed the problems where if you chose "Undo" after receiving a DooZee bonus you would continue getting +100 points everytime. The DooZee bonus is now only applied to your score when you choose a category for the current roll. This means it is also possible to lose your bonus if you re-roll. (Thanks, Jose!)

• Fixed some problems that occurred if the "Click to Keep" option was de-selected. (Thanks, John R. and Mitchell R.!)

• Added some drop shadows to the dice to make them stand out a bit more and add some depth.

• Added a second drawer to the right side of the window that displays each category score, bonuses and totals for each player and highlights the current player IF you are playing a multi-player game. (Thanks for the suggestion, Mike S.!)

• The default window position was moved down and to the left ("down... and to the left...") a bit to leave some room around the window.

• The window position is now saved when you quit. (Thanks again, John M.!)

• MULTI-PLAYER! (Only on one machine for now, network play forthcoming).

• Updated the main GUI and dice graphics with new, gorgeous graphics (I can call them gorgeous because I didn't make them! Thanks Matt B.!).

• Everyone's *ahem* favorite feature, the blinking score help, is no more. It has been replaced by semi-transparent, NON-BLINKING, blue text (too many people voiced their disdain to name them individually, but thanks to all of them).

• Got rid of the category checkboxes, now you can score a category by clicking anywhere from where the category name starts to the right edge of the score-box (Thanks Andrew).

• Fixed (I think) a bug where getting a DooZee Bonus or a Bonus and Joker before the third roll would cause the game to get stuck and you would keep getting DooZees infinitely. The bonus is no longer applied to your score unless and until you score the roll.

• Some small "flow/timing" changes when playing a multi-player game.

• Many other minor bug-fixes.

• Fixed a bug where if you had animation set to "None" you couldn't do anything after you score the first roll (thanks Matt!).

• Replaced the DooZee sound that nobody liked with the Mac OS X "Purr" sound for now. I'll work on making a better one.

• A few other minor interface bug-fixes.

• Added some "animation" to the dice rolling (if you have an animation speed other than 'None' selected).

• Added some sound effects (Thanks Corey!).

• Removed the ability to start a new game by clicking the dice buttons and added it to the roll button (now the "New Game/Roll Dice" button) (thanks, Brian).

• Added the ability to undo a misplaced score. You must undo before you roll the dice to start the next turn.

• Changed the title of this window to reflect the new name (Oops! Thanks again, Brian).

• Reordered the right-hand categories to reflect the order on an actual Yahtzee™ scorecard (Thanks Jay F.).

• If you have only one unscored category and you roll for the third time the program will apply the score (or zero) to the unscored category and the game will end. (thanks again, Brian!).

• The program will now remember the last name you entered for a high score between quits and re-launches (thanks -- guess who -- BRIAN!).

• A few more minor bug fixes.
